Platform
A platform is the system behind an online gaming brand. Players never see most of it, but everything they do passes through it.
What it is
When someone signs up, makes a deposit or claims a bonus, the platform records it and keeps their balance correct. The team running the brand uses the same system to look after players, set up promotions and see how things are going.
A platform also has to talk to other systems, such as payment providers. A good part of the work is making those connections reliable.
